Our Two Colorado Mountain Lodges Were Designed to Be the Kind of Place We Always Wanted to Stay
We designed Devil’s Thumb Ranch to be a place where you’re more likely to be outside than inside. So we make the time inside count. A trove of real, Americana furnishings pair with authentic ranch décor for a rustic vibe reminiscent of our country’s original homesteads. Quiet nooks and shared spaces offer chances to make yourself at home, curled up with a good book or around a roaring fire with your favorite people. Of course, the rooms themselves offer an inviting respite with cozy touches like heated floors, toasty fireplaces, fluffy robes, plush bedding and lush modern comforts that make your stay here incredible in every way. In fact, if the views out your window weren’t so enticing, you might never want to leave your room.

Nestled into the hillside just steps from our main lodge, High Lonesome offers adjoining rooms and spacious, multi-room suites for guests looking to bunk closer together in Rocky Mountain style. The centerpiece of this striking Lodge is the High Lonesome Barn, a Civil War-era, hand-hewn post and beam structure that was moved piece by piece from Findlay, Ohio. Home to many of the weddings thrown at Devil’s Thumb Ranch, it’s connection to quaint outdoor gathering spaces complete with sweeping views make it an ideal venue for your most special moments.
Throughout its 50,000 square feet, High Lonesome offers endless places to relax and recharge from the comfort of cozy leather couches and chairs, outdoor fire pits, and porches perfect for kicking back on rocking chairs while taking in unforgettable views.
