All Aboard! Skip the stress of driving and instead sit back and relax on one of the most scenic train rides in the country! Amtrak offers daily round-trip service from Denver’s Union Station to the Winter Park-Fraser Train Station, just minutes from Devil’s Thumb Ranch. To skip to roads altogether, you can ride the Denver Airport Rail straight from Denver International Airport to Union Station to catch your train from downtown Denver to the heart of the Rockies.

Enjoy dining and beverages during your 2-hour and 40-minute scenic journey across the Continental Divide. Once you arrive, our complimentary shuttle will be there to transport you to the Ranch.  This package also includes a $55 Food and Beverage Credit to spend during your stay at the Ranch as a thank you for taking the train!

A Lodging reservation and an Amtrak ticket corresponding with the dates of your stay at the Ranch are required to receive your credit. Daily train schedules and pricing are subject to change. New to Fly Fishing, wanting to up your fly-fishing game, or already a skilled angler? We’ve got just the package deal for you!

We invite you to fish on our four-plus miles of private water located on Ranch property with an expert, Orvis-endorsed, private guide. The package includes lodging and a three-hour fly fishing session that comes with a snack and a beverage plus fishing gear–waders, rods, and flies.

Spend 3 hours on the Fraser River or Ranch Creek learning or honing your casting skills with an abundance of rainbow, brown, brook, cutthroat, and  cutbow trout to catch and release! Enjoy the sparkle of early morning dew, the soothing gurgling of the river, and pristine views of Rocky Mountain Wilderness and the Continental Divide as you spend a quarter of your day immersed in communion with nature, the river, and the company of your guide and/or fishing companions.

*The Fly-Fishing package is only available Sunday through Thursday from June to October or as temperatures and fishing conditions permit. Gratuity for your guide is included.
