Yoga is complimentary for Devil’s Thumb Ranch Lodging guests & $20 per person for non-lodging guests.
Classes are offered daily at 8:30am & 4:30pm at Ranch Creek Spa. Reservations not required.

Kids will get to help brush our herd. It’s a great opportunity to spend time around the horses and build a bond in a different way!
Focuses on learning how horses communicate with their body language while making them feel good and get rid of their winter hair!

Ground lesson to learn more about how the horse moves and communicates with humans AND horses.
Guests will be provided with a horse to groom and follow with learning body language, clarity, and communication by the halter.

For the young cowpokes! This ½ hour ride runs along one of our snow packed trails with a visit afterwards to the campfire for hot drinks and s’mores.
Rides are booked around sleigh rides and staff availability.
Due to conditions, this is currently only offered as an abbreviated on-road version.
The Stables are open 8:30AM–4PM daily, though we tend to be busy for the first and last 30 minutes of each day with opening and closing tasks.
All Stables Offerings will end with hot drinks and s’mores
All Cabin Creek Stables activities require a reservation and must be held with a Credit Card or a room/folio number. Minimums and maximums may apply. There is a 2-hour cancellation policy on all reservations. For sleigh ride preparation, 12-hour advance notice is required. All activities are weather and surface condition dependent to ensure animal and guest safety, but cancellations are rare. Weight restrictions do apply for horseback riding. Children must be 10 years of age or older to ride by themselves unless approved by Stables Staff. No riding double. All reservations are on a first come first serve basis.
Just minutes away are the many trails of the Arapaho National Forest, the Indian Peaks Wilderness Area, Rocky Mountain National Park — only a 40-minute drive from the Ranch and the second most visited National Park in the U.S. Would you like to make the trip up to our namesake “Devil’s Thumb?” Our staff is happy to direct you to the off-property trailhead.
