START YOUR DAY OFF RIGHT
Never stray too far from coffee and a treat.
Rise and shine for a coffee on the patio. Morning sun, buzzing hummingbirds, and freshly baked breakfast pastries get your day started off on the right foot! Hallowed Ground Coffee Shop is open daily from 7am to 2pm.
Ease Into the Day
Spend your morning in one of the most tranquil corners of the Ranch, Ranch Creek Spa. We like to start our spa experience with a cup of our signature Ranch tea blend by the crackling fireplace followed by an indulgent massage treatment. We love a morning treatment most because you have ample time to enjoy the secluded outdoor hot tub and patio with a glass of bubbly and a light snack.
Garden Tour
Get an early start to bumble about Kendra’s Garden with the bees and our garden experts! Check in on our veggies, learn about the native flowers, and maybe even help harvest a few ingredients for the restaurants. Garden tours are offered daily from 7:30-8am.
Wildlife spotting
You never know what woodland friends are wandering about here at the Ranch, so always keep an eye out for wildlife visitors! You’ll find a set of binoculars in your lodge room, so keep them close for the best viewing.
FUN IN THE SUN
Fly Down Four Ziplines
Experience the thrill of zip line tours at Devil’s Thumb Ranch! Soar through the air on four different zip lines, including a 1,600-foot stretch with speeds up to 40 mph. Prepare to be amazed by breathtaking views as you glide over treetops and meadows.
Geocache adventure
Embark on an exciting geocaching scavenger hunt! Explore different points around the Ranch collecting prizes along the way. Join the adventure and enjoy the thrill of geocaching in a stunning outdoor setting! Stop into Zach’s Mercantile to get started.
Pool Party
Dive into a day of sun, fun, and laughter with a family pool party. Our stunning pool surrounded by scenic views provides the perfect backdrop for an unforgettable gathering. Enjoy water games, lounging by the pool, cold drinks from the pool bar, and soaking up the sun. The outdoor pool and hot tub are open from 9am-9pm daily.
Hone in your Western Skills
Get ready to channel your inner cowboy, test your aim, and have a blast in the great outdoors. Don’t miss the chance to try your hand at hatchet throwing and create lasting memories in the heart of Colorado’s majestic mountains.
EVENING ACTIVITIES
Square Dance the Night Away
Put on your dancing cowboy boots and join us every Tuesday and Friday evening at 7pm for square dancing! No experience needed—our square dance caller will show you a boot-stompin’ good time. Show up at 7:00 PM sharp when instruction starts to learn with the group and make the most out of this unforgettable Ranch experience! All ages are welcome as long as you know your right from your left hand and can dance on your own. Not for those who do not want to have a lot of fun!
Gather around the fire
End your day in the mountains with a sweet fireside treat. Grab a s’mores kit from Heck’s Tavern and toast your marshmallows on Heck’s patio or around one of the High Lonesome Lodge fire pits.
One-of-a-Kind Dining
Did you know we are one of the few places in the country to offer full-blooded Wagyu raised right here on the Ranch? Go all-in with a Wagyu sampler or indulge in other Colorado flavors with fresh, locally sourced ingredients whenever possible. Plus, the sunset views from Ranch House Restaurant simply cannot be beat. Be sure to make your reservations early because space is limited!
Live Music in Heck’s Tavern
Grab a game and pull up by the fireplace for some family time, enhanced with live music, delicious bites, and drinks. You can catch live music in Heck’s Tavern every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 6-9pm.

Outdoor Live music
You simply cannot miss an outdoor concert in Winter Park, Colorado! With plenty of acts and venues to choose from, catch a live show in town to check out the local scenery and enjoy some good tunes! High-note Thursday is a free weekly event, plus a number of offerings at Cooper Creek Square.
Alpine slide
Visit Colorado’s longest alpine slide just minutes down the road from Devil’s Thumb Ranch. Take the chairlift up and an adventure down with this one-of-a-kind Winter Park experience.
Headwaters Center
Headwaters River Journey is Colorado’s most interactive place for people of all ages to dive into the world of land and water conservation. The 31 immersive exhibits at Headwaters River Journey answer these questions and more in engaging, illuminating, and entertaining ways.
