Born and raised in Bulgaria, Zhanet started skiing at a very young age. Growing up she was part of the cross-country ski team, orienteering ski team, and biathlon team and raced in various events. Among her accomplishments are several national titles.
Even though Zhanet no longer races, she continues to share her passion for skiing and teaching. Her favorite part about coaching is seeing past people’s limitations and helping them overcome what they themselves never believed was possible.
