Newton is a 22-year resident of the Fraser Valley. He originally came here for the skiing, but soon discovered the fishing is even better. Newton recently retired from a career in finance in Boulder. He learned to fish from his grandfather on small streams in Vermont. Since then, he has fished, whitewater kayaked and rafted on rivers, creeks and streams all over the United States. Just being next to or on a river is a wonderful thing. Sharing this love of rivers and a lifetime of river knowledge is Newton’s first goal with clients.
