Devil’s Thumb Ranch
Devil’s Thumb Ranch was “so amazing and worked with our new plan for a micro wedding.” The wedding celebration came together beautifully with an intimate outdoor ceremony with views of the continental divide, private dinner reception with cascading flowers, and authentic Colorado touches throughout their event including western Ranch experiences for their guests.
The couple brought their family and friends together over a weekend of events which included Western pastimes like horseback riding, fly fishing, and mountain biking. “It has the authentic Colorado mountain feel I was hoping for. Right before we walked down the aisle, they ran the horses through the pasture. I grew up riding horses so this was definitely a fairy-tale moment.”
“We chose Devil’s Thumb Ranch for our wedding because it was a perfect blend of the beauty of the mountains and nature with a venue and accommodations that were both luxurious and rustic, with amazing service and outstanding food. We also loved all the outdoor activities the Ranch has to offer. Another one of our favorite details and moments at the wedding were the mini horses we had carrying beers for guests at cocktail hour. Our guests loved it and were lining up to take pictures with them!”
Rich colors, bold textures, and the most breathtaking panoramic mountain views of 6,500 tree-filled acres! Inspired by the beautiful natural surroundings, these warm color choices would leave anyone speechless over this Colorado Rocky Mountain wedding ceremony and reception.
Being a laid-back couple who love the outdoors, Sophia and Cole wanted to ensure their wedding felt like them. Warm, inviting, and romantic, Devil’s Thumb Ranch’s mountain setting was just the right vibe. The fact that it also offered accommodation for all their guests was a big selling point.
A regular Ranch visitor growing up, Jessica had long known she wanted to get married here. The wedding day blended the groom’s southern roots with the bride’s Colorado vibe to create a classic mountain weekend celebration. “The venue was a no brainer… to keep things classic, timeless, and a bit elegant in this refined rustic space.”
When Diana and Danny visited Devil’s Thumb Ranch they finally got the feeling they had been searching for (for months!) – a raw, natural landscape, but with all the amenities for guests to enjoy and feel comfortable, and a ceremony site surrounded by mountains and horses.
