Whether visiting in the height of summer or during snow-covered winter months, families will find a wide range of experiences designed to inspire curiosity, adventure, and a little bit of Western spirit. From pool days to horseback riding, we truly believe that even your littlest wrangler can find a fun activity to fill their days.
We know that sometimes it’s hard to quickly see if your little one meets the age requirements for each activity, so we created this quick guide with ages & activities so you can choose a new favorite, age appropriate, activity.
Around the Ranch:

At the Stables:
- Wagon / Sleigh Ride, all ages
- Buckaroo Ride (10–15 minute trail ride), ages 2-6 old with an adult
- Lil’ Wrangler (30-minute trail ride), ages 3-6 with an adult
- Old MacDonald, ages 4+
- Family Ride (30-minute trail ride), ages 5+ with an adult per additional kid under 7 (may have 1 wrangler to walk with 1 kid)
- Cowpoke camp, ages 5-12
- Intro to Horse Grooming, ages 6+ (under 10 with an adult)
- Grooming Lesson, ages 6+
- Byers Loop (45 minute trail ride), ages 7+
- Roping Lessons, ages 8+
- The Frontier Hour (1 hour trail ride), ages 10+
