A Real Cattle Drive/Calf Branding
A Unique Colorado Ranch Experience We here at Devil’s Thumb Ranch would like to invite you to participate in our annual cattle drive to push the herd into the corrals and sort the calves off from mothers. Calves are then processed, which includes branding, DNA samples, vaccination boosters, and ear tattooing. We will wrangle steers one week and heifers the next. Immerse yourself in an authentic weekend of Ranch activity working with the Ranch’s own cattle herd. Help Ranch hands drive cattle to and from the corrals where you will participate in humane freeze branding, vaccination, DNA sample collection, and more.
