Devil’s Thumb Ranch and the Winter Park/Fraser Chamber are happy to present the 9th annual 30km, 15km, and 3k kids classic-only cross country ski race and tour! The event will start and finish at Devil’s Thumb Ranch Resort & Spa. An end of race celebration will be located at Broad Axe Barn with food and beer.
After 12:00pm on December 22nd, 2023 prices will increase (HS Student has a flat rate):
30k Classic Ski Race: $70 to $85*
15k Classic Race: $50 to $65*
15k Classic Ski Tour: $50 to $65*
3k Kids Classic Ski: Free
*Price increase does not apply to high school student registration
Online registration closes at 12:00 pm on January 19th, 2024.
Locations and Transportation:
All events will start and finish at Devil’s Thumb Ranch. Please park all cars in the parking lots located north and west of the main lodge (#1 on our DTR property map). Overflow parking is located at the High Lonesome lodge (#15 on our DTR property map).

Friday, January 19th
12:00pm – 5:00pm: Pre-registration and packet pick-up at Chamber of Commerce – 78841 US-40, Winter Park, CO 80482
5:30pm – 8:00pm: Pre-registration and packet pick-up at Devil’s Thumb Ranch in Zach’s Mercantile (#6 on our DTR property map).
Saturday, January 20th
7:00am – 8:30am: 30km packet pick-up at Devil’s Thumb Ranch (Broad Axe Barn #4 on property map)
7:00am – 9:30am: 15km race and tour packet pick-up at Devil’s Thumb Ranch (Broad Axe Barn #4 on property map)
9:00am: 30k race mass start
9:15am: 3k kids race start.
10:00am: 15k race mass start
10:05am: 15k ski tour start immediately following the 15k mass start
11:00am – 3:30pm: After Party with food and beer at Broad Axe Barn (#4 on our DTR property map)
12:00pm: Award ceremony (Broad Axe Barn #4 on our DTR property map)

*Awards will be given to the top three women and men in the 30k and 15k race.
*The fastest individuals in the following age groups will receive a prize: 19 & under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 & above.
