Employee Events

Three strikes and… I win?! Well, that’s what I wish I could say about my bowling skills at May’s employee bowling night at The Foundry in Fraser. What a fun evening! We had 9 lanes filled with employees, employees’ families, and probably in my lane, maybe a few-too-many gutter balls. But hey, winning is definitely not what this night is all about. What I love about this employee event (we get to have one event a month– so awesome!) is that it brings together so many different departments for a night of free bowling and pizza. “Hey, I’m Jane—I don’t think we’ve met before. What’s your name?” Or “Hey Garth, are these your kids that I hear so much about?” You have the chance to relax and connect with your colleagues outside of work, which is so important in creating a strong team here at the Ranch. Next month we get to go to a Colorado Rockies baseball game in Denver, which is a fantastic event, too. Grab a hotdog and a soda, root, root, root for the home team, and watch the sun set over the mountains—making us especially appreciative of where we get to drive home to.
