SUMMARY:Fly Tying Classes
DESCRIPTION:$150 per person.  \nThis activity is available to overnight lodging guests only. \nHave you always wanted to try tying your own flies\, but worried it was just too difficult? The truth is that it’s simply not that hard and can be very relaxing and a great creative outlet. Have a blast learning the basics of fly tying with our fly fishing and tying instructor\, former long-time Orvis Fishing Manager\, Brian Young. Brian will review the basic tools\, materials\, and key techniques\, and teach you to tie your first flies that you can take home and fish…including the San Juan Worm\, Wooly Bugger\, Zebra Midge\, and Pheasant Tail Midge. Classes are $150 per person\, and we supply the materials and equipment. They will run 9–11 AM at the Devil’s Thumb Activities Center on three Saturdays – 4/29\, 5/6\, & 5/13.
