DESCRIPTION:Get your skis waxed\, find a buddy\, and get ready to have some fun! \nJoin us for for the 2nd annual 12K skiathlon in honor of Bill Chambers—a long time Grand County resident who loved Nordic skiing and our mountain community. The skiathlon will consist of both classic and skate skiing. The event can be completed by one person\, or a two-person team relay (all male\, all female or co-ed). The first leg of the course is to be completed on classic skis\,  and the second leg on skate skis. There will be a transition area in between.
