MAIN LODGE

The Main Lodge at Devil’s Thumb Ranch is reminiscent of the country’s great National Park lodges. A striking architectural marvel, its lobby, and hallways feature rustic, hand-hewn wooden floors and beams and fantastic western artifacts that harken to the early pioneering homesteads. The Lodge is home to Heck’s Tavern, one of the fantastic restaurants on-property, named after the hexagonal shape of the grand, three-story fireplace anchored in its center. Serving regional dishes made from fresh, local ingredients, including Wagyu beef raised right here on the Ranch, Heck’s has become an establishment in and around Grand County.

The Lodge has 52 uniquely decorated guest rooms and offers plenty of places for guests to make their own from our library and business center to a game room complete with board games, billiards, and a two-lane bowling alley, a 37-seat movie theater with big screen and projector, on-site café serving delicious coffee, snacks, and breakfast items, and hidden nooks throughout the lodge perfect for cozying up after a long day of adventure. Our fitness center and year-round, geothermal heated, outdoor saltwater pool and hot tub are all situated between the Main Lodge and High Lonesome for all guests to access during their stay.
