Fraser River and Ranch Creek

Hey guys and gals,

Here is a fishing report for our section of the Fraser.  Ice has just come off of the Fraser River which means the fish are hungry after a long winter.  Fishing is best during midday and afternoon. Nymph fishing is good with standard springtime attractors like San Juan Worms, globugs, leeches, and stoneflies.  There is a little bit of midge and caddis activity, and a few BWOs, but not many fish are rising.  The water is a bit off color but use that to your advantage by fishing bigger flies and tippets. The fishing should continue to be very good until runoff.
