Fraser River

September 12, 2014

Late summer fishing is in full effect on the Fraser River at Devil's Thumb Ranch.  We are fishing dry flies and the fish are eating them.  Cool mornings and evenings are keeping the fish happy.  Effective flies are hoppers, caddis, BWOs, and midges.  But why would you fish the small stuff when hoppers are working?  Get it while you can before the aspens turn and the snow flies.
