Half Day Horseback Ride                     $95 per person
Offered daily at 9:30am and 1:30pm. A 2 ½ hour ride that explores the meadows, woodlands, creeks and hilltops of Devils Thumb Ranch Resort & Spa upon one of our happy, healthy horses or mules.
1 ½ Hour Horseback Ride                     $80 per person
Offered daily at 9:30am and 1:30pm. The perfect ride for parents introducing younger children to riding, or for those looking for a shorter horseback experience.
Half Day Cattle Drive                             $140 per person

Offered daily at 9:30 am and 1:30 pm. For guests looking for the true western experience behind a herd of cattle roaming the wild-west. Depending on the herd's location, we will move the cattle to greener pasture or into a corral for their weekly health check. Participants must pass a riding test by the stable's staff. Option may be restricted or cancelled due to safety concerns. Children must be 13 or older. (3 guest minimum or $420. 8 guest maximum per drive.)

Full Day Horseback Ride                       $175 per person
Offered daily from 9am - 3pm. For more adventurous riders who would like to explore the far reaches of the Ranch. Boxed lunch included. (3 person minimum or $510.)
 
Rancher's Ride                                        $115 per person
Offered daily at 9:30am & 1:30pm. A 2 ½ hour combination of trail riding and team penning. Enjoy a short trail ride. Upon our return to the stables; improve your skills while you learn to cut, move and pen cattle under the watchful eye of your friendly wrangler. For all abilities. Children must be 13 or older. (3 guest minimum or $345. Maximum of 6 guests.)
 
Private Rides                                           $150 per group
Enjoy our full attention on a private ride. Perfect for special occasions or suprise proposals! May be requested for most horseback offerings. Minimums apply. (Private ride minimum $300.)
 
Gone Riding Package                             $152 per person

Two afternoon half day trail rides. Add cattle for an additional $20 per person.

One Hour Horsemanship Lesson           $95 per person

Develop your skill base and learn new techniques in our arena or on the trail. Driver must be at least 8 years of age or approved by Stables Management.
Family Ride                                              $45 per person
A 45 minute horseback experience for the whole family! Adults and children 10 years and older will learn the basics and ride independently. Lil' buckaroos 9 years of age and under will be led alongside on our scenic pony ride loop. Ride booked around other stables activities and staff availability.
30 Minute Pony Ride                              $40 per child
Not the average walk in a circle... Your lil’ buckaroo will love being led by a wrangler on this wonderful scenic loop through the woods. Ages 3 to 12. Ride booked around other stables activities and staff availability. For groups with multiple children, an adult from the party may be asked to help lead a pony.
Off-Road Buggy/Wagon Rides              $35 6 and up, Free ages 5 & under
Offered daily from 3:30pm - 4:30pm. A great way for all guests to tour the property and learn the history of the Ranch. Open to all ages and abilities. Rides booked around other stables activities and staff availability. Maximum of 20 guests. Minimum charge of $140 per ride. Private rides are available for the additional charge of $10/person with a minimum of $150. Add a boxed lunch and drinks on board for an additional $15/person. (24 hour notice required.)
 
Wagon Ride with Dinner                      $50 ages 6 and up, Free ages 5 & under
Offered 5pm - 7:30pm by reservation only. A one hour wagon ride followed by a delicious meal at Heck's or Ranch House Restaurant. Guests will have the opportunity to order from the restaurant menus and meals will be billed separately. (Ride minimum $400 or 8 guests. Private rides are an additional $150/group.) Seven days advance notice required.
 
Early Evening Ride                                  $95 per person
Offered from 5pm - 6:30pm. Enjoy the tranquility and beauty of the Ranch at dusk. Children must be 13 or older. Seven days advance notice required. (4 guest minimum or $360.)
Something special in mind? Go ahead and give us a try... We love the challenge of meeting your special request. Reservations and rates must be arranged with the Stables staff.
 
All Cabin Creek Stables activities require a reservation and must be held with a Credit Card or a room/folio number. For non-Ranch guests with activities exceeding $250, a credit card will be charged at the time of reservation. There is a 48 hour cancellation policy on all reservations. All activities are weather and surface condition dependent to ensure animal and guest safety, but cancellations are rare. Weight restrictions do apply for horseback riding. Children must be 10 years of age or older to ride by themselves unless approved by stables staff. No riding double. All reservations are on a first come first service basis. Book early!
Goats, chickens, cats, dogs and a bunny are always available at our petting zoo for visitation and love.
The barn is open from 7:30am - 4:30pm.
