Lodging at Devil's Thumb Ranch Resort & Spa - private cabins, cozy lodge rooms and the most comfortable beds this side of the Pecos.
Our Lodge was designed in the architectural style known as "Parkitecture" in honor of nearby Rocky Mountain National Park. The Lodge offers cozy single rooms and multi-room suites, a cafe, pub/bistro, fitness center, theater, a six-sided, three-story fireplace constructed from stones gathered from a rockslide near the Ranch, and even a miniature bowling alley. Like our cabins, it is stocked with rustic furniture, soft down pillows, warm bathrobes and other amenities. With so much to do, you may not even notice that our rooms now have televisions and DVD players. Complimentary DVD rentals are available at the front desk. If you need to check in with the real world, there are also televisions in our game room and at Heck's.
Snuggled into the forest on the ridgetop overlooking our meadow, our cabins range in size from intimate one bedroom lofts perfect for romantic get-aways to spacious four bedroom cabins with full kitchens and two baths - just the thing for friends and family retreats and reunions. All our cabins are furnished with hand-chosen antiques, down bedding and fireplaces. Many of our cabins are dog-friendly if you're traveling with your furry friend. See detailed descriptions or give us a call and we'll help you choose just the right one. Our cabins now have televisions and DVD players. Complimentary DVD rentals are available at the front desk. Most guests tell us they are so busy enjoying the great outdoors and each other, that they don't even notice.
And our charming former lodge? The original Elk lodge at Devil's Thumb Ranch Resort & Spa was moved down the road a couple of miles and has been repurposed as a bunkhouse, our self-service lodging option. Designed for the budget-conscious traveler, the Bunkhouse includes nine rooms with private bath, four rooms with a shared bath, and two small common areas. The rooms are a bit smaller, but certainly cozy, allowing our guests access to recreation, dining, spa, and events offered at the Ranch. Children under the age of sixteen are not allowed in the bunkhouse.
